Sketchbook
My new love of drawing and handmade paper will I'm sure fill this gallery soon!
Finding a local source of handmade paper; cotton rag and linen, and discovering a brand of watercolour pencils combined with gouache that just sing on these types of paper has resulted in large scale and quirky pieces.
The vintage playing card sketches were a fun way to use old Lexicon playing cards and have creatures parading on the tops. Lexicon of Dogs was the first quickly followed by Lexicon of Cats and a few more will be here soon as they make me smile whilst drawing them and I hope they make you smile too.
Please select carefully as some prints are available in A4 and A5.
