Merchant's Nocturne
One of my favourite. if a tad naughty sometimes, birds, so smart in their tuxedo like plumage. .
Magpies 1 to 10, not to 13 as I didn't want to include the devil himself!
With paper moths and collaged elements from Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice, daisy chain crowns and a locked book full of secrets, I hope you enjoy this Nocturne as much as I did creating it.
Printed in Worcestershire on Hahnemuhle German Etching Fine Art Paper and mounted in a double circular mount.
