The Nocturne Gallery
I think the Nocturnes are where I've had the most fun with paint and paper!
I love creating worlds that sits in the raggedy circles of the handmade rag paper that I edge with gold foil.
The collaged elements take me back to the days of my first job as a paste up artist and a love of text and words and combined with lashings of indigo, which hark back to my very first watercolours painted here, in the Forest of Dean, where a chance to be creative was first imagined.
It feels like a whole new world all over again with this mix of paint, collage and circles and one that I'm looking forward to exploring
